Multigrain’s network of warehouses, transshipments, mills and port facilities, comparable with its largest multinational competitors, enables the Company to implement its business with flexibility and scalability at a competitive cost. Highly professionalized logistics enables Multigrain to operate at competitive costs in every product line allying swift transportation with low loss rates.
The location of Multigrain’s warehouses and transshipments provides an efficient and agile set of logistics either for the internal market or for the importing and exporting operations. This efficiency allows to monitor the delivery cycle therefore enhancing its execution capabilities and providing transparency to its customers.
In order to export grains and oilseeds soybeans, Multigrain relies on operational agreements with railway companies to access the port terminals at Santos - SP, Ponta da Madeira, in São Luis - MA and Tubarão, in Vitória - ES. At the Port of Tubarão Multigrain owns a facility thus ensuring greater control over the operation of receiving the grains and loading onto the ships for export.
Multigrain also owns a wheat discharging terminal in Santos, CEREALSUL. Through agreements with railway companies Multigrain is capable to efficiently distribute wheat to the mills in the interior of the Country. Moreover Multigrain has partnership with terminals and warehouses in Paranaguá and Vitoria to unload vessels, stock the product when necessary and distribute it using both transportation modals – railcars and trucks.
